Energy efficient special requirements glasswalls

####

ANDROMEDA offers the ultimate thermal insulation glass, consisting of

  • Innovative double insulated crystal with complete industrial vacuum
  • contemporary energy-efficient frames

1) Special requirements glass [ANDROMEDA HPEG]

#

Unlike ordinary double glass, it maximizes its performance by utilizing vacuum between the two crystals. Combined with the minimum vacuum 0.3 mm wide, it achieves minimal thickness and weight, given that the conventional to date, double crystal technique requires three crystals to obtain the same results.

#
Equally important is the choice of material.
  • Aluminum has heat-exchange systems that have been established and applied without problems, with a decent thermal insulation factor and many different typologies. It covers all window applications.
  • Stainless steel, or plain steel has advantages in strength and waist thermal insulation behavior. It is ideal for large openings, professional spaces and firepower-bulletproof protection requirements.
  • Wood and PVC are suitable for homes and traditional settlements. In small openings they provide ideal thermal insulation.
  • Fiberglass is a relatively new style of frames with strong robustness, longevity and very good thermal insulation.
#

The ANDROMEDA team of engineers is ready to support studies for all glazing, proposing alternative combinations, based on data from already implemented projects. We propose solutions with a different emphasis each time in either security-protection, aesthetics and functionality. Finally we complete the package with a range of fireproof, bulletproof and automatic constructions that we have been managing for the last thirty years.

High-quality glazing systems are designed to be heatproof, soundproof, windproof and have a longer wear time much better than any crystal has ever had. Implementing them solves every problem of the building, while upgrading its value.

Applications

#

New office buildings, shops, residences, hotels, public facilities.

Glass panes are highly resistant to wind blows being only half weight as opposed to common double glass. This feature enables us to use a skeleton / carrier with a much smaller and more economical structure. This prevents the phenomenon of liquefaction, that glass "drip". It does not bother the audience moving beneath them and because it does not blur, it offers an unobstructed view.

It is also a particularly advantageous application in the renovation of 1970s buildings in the sense that have monolithic glass. HYS (High Requirement Glass) has the same thickness as the old glass making it possible to change only the glass without change existing frameworks.

#

It is worth to mention sealants, which as foam synthetic materials, do not create a thermal bridge between crystal / frame and frame / carrier.

It is also ideal for wooden frames in traditional settlements. Whether they are old wooden frames or new ones. The small thickness and weight doesnt require extra stiffness to withstand double and triple insulating glass.

#

In the industry sector, it is applied in freezing-maintenance areas. The ultra-thin thickness of the securit glass, combined with Uvalue 0.4 makes it ideal for skylight in refrigerator doors. Due to the fact that the innovation is in the bonding of the insulating glass, we can manufacture all the possible combinations of glass. Low, reflective, absorbtion, extra clear, laminated, tempered, coated. The researcher can select virtually infinite combinations in type, thickness, color.

It is also applicable to shipbuilding, yachts and boats, as they have ideal thermal insulation and do not blur. They also have increased wind resistance and breakage safety.
